In 1989, Bernard Plossu published "Garden of Dust". This book, which has become mythical, is the result of long walks in the desert of the western United States. From these expanses of drought, he brought back images of extreme sobriety. For his part, Francis Kauffmann has been capturing light in the most remote areas of the Moroccan High Atlas for 20 years. This exhibition is a unique opportunity for a visual dialogue between two photographers united by the fascination of the desert as a place of silence and freedom.
