Famous for having played host to some World Cup races, Le Markstein ski resort includes 10 pistes from green to black for advanced skiers. Real enthusiasts will also be able to make use of their slalom stadium, unique in the area! Le Markstein also offers a cross-country skiing area with more than 40 km of tracked pistes and extensive views over the Vosges valleys and the Plain of Alsace, stretching as far as the Alps on a clear day. The Route Nordique, which joins Le Grand Ballon, Le Markstein and Le Schnepfenried, is the real backbone of the area and will help you make the most of discovering the Hautes-Vosges.
