For over 20 years, the Fête de l'Eau has been showcasing the work of regional and international artists in Wattwiller and the surrounding area. After a year of storms, the FEW is celebrating rain.

This meteorological phenomenon, which has a direct and tangible impact on the future of human societies through its abundance or scarcity, is the source of many myths and rituals. Whether we fear it or call for it, rain has always inspired countless stories and practices, processions and celebrations using a wide range of artistic forms: songs, dances, prayers and the creation of ritual or symbolic objects.

The FEW invites artists to take up this theme to revisit our contemporary relationship with this natural phenomenon: even if we fear its excesses, it's vital to see rain as a blessing. So let's celebrate the fruitful and beneficial rain, synonymous with joy, abundance and fertility!
